Nathan Fisher's Portfolio
As a part of the Film Studies NEA project, we had to create a series of 20 storyboards based on one of the scenes from our screenplays.
I chose the final scene of my screenplay to create the storyboards from as I had a clear vision in my head of what the final confrontation between the two lead characters would look like and wanted to make it a reality.
The drawn storyboard on the right is my rough draft that I will use to take the images necessary to complete my NEA project fully.
I have used a wide variety of camera angles, shots and ways of framing each storyboard based on the ideas I had whilst writing my screenplay.
I really enjoyed the storyboarding process as I felt it was like I could see the vision inside of my head coming to life in front of me and it furthered my understanding of how framing and shot composition can help to tell the story.
